The GLORIA design takes the form of a pretty embroidered notebook with, inside, a handy little fabric mat for preparing your traditional appliqués: place the shape to be appliquéd upside down on the mat and run a stiletto along the seam line to mark the fold.
Thanks to the construction I suggest, when the mat is worn out you can easily unpick it and fit a new one!
